Bul FC Appoint Frank Anyau as Head Coach, Confirm Isabirye Resignation

Just days after coach Alex Isabirye confirmed his resignation at BUL FC, patient the club has appointed coach Frank ‘Video’ Anyau to take over the vacancy.

“I am delighted that Anyau has agreed to become our new head coach,” Bul FC club chairman Mr Alias Silva said.

“He has an outstanding reputation for his technical knowledge of the game and creating well organized teams capable of playing football in an attractive and attacking style,” he added.

Coach Isabirye who only served one year, half of his contract at the Jinja club cited management interference in his job.

“Anyau shares our long term ambitions and ethos of developing players and nurturing young talent and he will be capable of playing football in an attractive and attacking style.”

Anyau was previously at SCVilla as the technical director and was interim coach during the 2016 Caf confederations cup.

“I feel privileged to be its (Bul) coach, for me this js one of the most exciting coaching positions in the Uganda premier league.”

“I have had discussions with the chairman and the clubs executive and I share their vision of the future progress of the club. This is a squad any coach would love to work with and together I believe we can bring success in the seasons ahead.”
