Buganda Football committee has indefinitely suspended Mawogola county head coach Fred Kasekende for beating up a referee.
The committee unanimously ruled on Wednesday that Kasekende will no longer take charge of any team in the Masaza cup until any further notice.
The coach in context has been found guilty for physically assaulting referee David Nsubuga.
The incident occurred on Sunday last week as Mawogola was playing Bululi in Sembabule.
Kasekende together with the fans attacked the Centre referee accusing him of biased officiating.
The referee was severely beaten, left oozing with blood and had to be rushed to hospital.
Mawogola were protesting a penalty that the said referee had awarded to the visiting team.
Additionally, Mawogola has been fined Shs500,000 to cater for the medical bills of the referee and their home ground has been banned for two home games next season.
By the time of abandonment of the game, Bululi was leading 2-1. Mawogola finished bottom of group C on three points in seven games.
Buvuma have also been fined Shs1 million for failing to make the trip to Butambala in their final group game.
The group stage phase ended last week and the quarter final stage is slated for July 23, 2017.
Buddu are the defending champions of the Masaza Cup. They defeated Gomba in the finals last year at Mandela National stadium.
