Ismail's family is now worried about his whereabouts

Family members told this website on Sunday that Ismail left his home in Kisugu, Kibuli, a Kampala suburb on Wednesday morning to meet someone in the city but did not return.

“He was in Uganda for only one month, having travelled from United Kingdom in October,” recounted Farouk Sempala, a cousin of Ismail.

“So, he woke up early morning on Saturday and used public means to travel to town. We have not seen him again since then,” he added.

Sempala further said, “we have talked to police who are now searching for him.”

Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Patrick Onyango was not readily available for comment when we posted this story.

Abbey Kibirige, who is a family friend, said Ismail traveled to Uganda on October 29.

“He was supposed to meet someone when he left his home in Kibuli, but nobody knows where he is at the moment,” said Kibirige.
