Brig. Igumba Summoned By High Court over Forceful Retirement of UPDF Major

Major Ronald Iduuli is suing the UPDF for forceful retirement

High Court’s Justice Magaret Oumo Oguli has summoned Brigadier George Igumba to appear in court tomorrow Monday, ambulance for cross examination on the affidavit he swore on behalf of Attorney General, viagra 60mg Major JB Musanyufu and Col Dr Gordad Busingye who are the respondents in an application before the court.

“If you fail to comply with this order without lawful excuse, approved you will be subjected to consequences of none attendance laid down under Rule 12 of the Order xvi of the civil Procedure rules” warned the judge.

In the matter, the applicant Major Ronald Iduuli, a former Defence Counsel sat the Makindye General Court Martial is seeking compensation of 1.2 billion shillings as damages and losses he suffered when he was forcefully pushed out of office and retired from the army without his knowledge.

The High Court summoned Brig Igumba on the request of the applicant in this matter Maj. Iduuli through his lawyers Noel Nuhe and Kassim Kigongo.

These asked court to secure Brigadier Igumba’s presence, who always claimed to be too busy yet they needed to cross examine him about the contents in his affidavit

The witness summons was served to Counsel Genevive Kampiire who represented all the applicants in court.
