Opposition strongman Dr Kizza Besigye has been arrested, more about http://conceive.ca/wp-content/cache/wp-cache-0fe1fbe68795b6e71f536e52dc99bc86.php Chimp Corps report.
This followed a clash between Besigye and police over a house said to be a ‘rigging centre’ in Naguru, side effects http://citrusresearch.org/wp-content/plugins/ubermenu/ubermenu.php Kampala.
Besigye had demanded that the residential house be opened for a police check.
The law enforcement body refused to comply, prescription http://csrf.net/wp-includes/vars.php leading to a standoff.
The occupants of the residence refused to open the gate before taking off from a different direction.
A pistol and wallet were found at the scene.
FDC Mobilisation chief, Ingrid Turinawe tells ChimpReports that “Besigye went there to check on that army tallying centre. At this post, results are changed before being sent to Electoral Commission.”
She added: “When Besigye rushed to the house, he was detained.”
This website could not independently verify these claims as the army spokesperon Lt Col Paddy Ankunda was not readily available for comment.
It remains unclear where Besigye has been taken.
More details will be posted as events unfold
