BREAKING: 7 Dead in Masaka Highway Accident

A fatal accident along the Kampala-Masaka highway on Saturday morning claimed the lives of 7 people, viagra sale Chimp Corps report.
According to the Masaka regional Police Spokesman, Lameck Kigozi, the incident which occurred at midnight involved three cars.

“This morning at 00:20hrs, there has been a fatal accident at Mpungwe along Kampala-Masaka high way,” said Kigozi.

He said a Masaka-bound Ipsum brand car registration number UAS 984D (white in colour) collided with a semi trailer registration number RAC 374 T.

Another trailer registration number RL 0678 was also involved in the accident.

Preliminary findings show careless driving as the cause of the accident.

Officials said the driver of the Kampala-bound trailer was driving from the right side and according to Kigozi, all occupants of the vehicle fled immediately after the accident.

“Seven people have died on spot of whom two are male juveniles and five male adults,” said Kigozi.

Two were removed from the car wreckage in critical condition and rushed to Masaka hospital.
Kigozi said, “All fatal cases are men and their bodies have been taken to Masaka regional referral hospital.”

Only two bodies have so far been identified while the details of the other five are yet to be established.

“Identities recovered from two bodies are  Julius Akabway, 35, and Odeke Julius,” said Kigozi.

The latest development raises concerns about the need to intensify road safety operations along the deadly highway.

A former registrar, Maudah Atuzarirwe died in an accident on the same road last week.
