Bodaboda Cyclists Arrested Over Vandalism

Some of the riders abandoned their motorbikes and run away

Traffic was interrupted this morning along Kampala Jinja Road as Police is battled with a number of Bodaboda riders for pulling down KCCA’s sign posts indicating the designated Bodaboda stages; a the plan which most of them oppose to.

The large group of cyclists which was moving around putting down the newly erected road signs were arrested near Uganda House on Jinja Road.

Police was tipped off that a violent mob was destroying KCCA signs in the areas of Wandegeya, information pills http://clintonhouse.com/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/locales.php Kitante and the city center.

Central Police Station DPC Michael Musana noted, salve “We are not going to tolerate such violence in the city center, and we have so far arrested four bodaboda riders and impounded a number of motorcycles. We will trace their owners and charge them for vandalism.”

The arrested people together with their bikes have been taken to Central Police Station.
