With every team making preparations ahead of the highly anticipated Uganda Premier League season, the managerial changes have also continued to happen across the entire league.
On Wednesday, Soana Football Club confirmed Shafik Bisaso as their new head coach on a two year deal.
Club owner and chairman, Smart Obedi confirmed the developments indicating that Bisaso will help them perform better in the forthcoming season.
“Shafik Bisaso joins Soana on a two year deal and I believe he is a great coach that will help us improve a lot this season. He is tested and proven,” Obedi said.
Bisaso who was at SC Villa last season replaces Alex Isabirye who has since left and joined newly promoted Masavu FC.
Bisaso is confident he has a team that will help him to deliver to his best ability in his new job.
“I’m delighted that I join a great team like Soana with a very formidable squad with talented players. I have the faith that we shall be competitive this coming season,” he noted.
Bisaso is among the several managerial changes that have happened including; Charles Ayiekho (Kirinya Jinja SS),Kefa Kisala(BUL), Frank Video Anyau (Mbarara City FC) among others.
