Beach Woodball: Adupa Extends Lead after Successful 3rd Circuit

Action at the third Woodball circuit

Joel Adupa consolidated his top spot after emerging the best in the 3rd Beach Woodball Circuit on Sunday at the Sports Beach in Entebbe over the weekend.

The Zoe Woodball club star hit 42 strokes, try one ahead of his teammate Ronald Kawumba and two ahead of Bossa Bruno of Ndejje Woodball club.

In the ladies, Ndejje University duo of Rose Sandra Nabaggala Florence Mukoya topped the day’s list with 50 and 51 points respectively ahead of Danilah Nabukalu (54) from Ndejje Woodball Club.

Nabaggala’s show lifts her to the second place with 74 points while a lucky Joan Mukoova assumes the summit seat despite an unconvincing result that saw her end the day on the seventh place.

The movement pushes Lilian Zawedde down to the third spot. The woman woodball playr of the year has accumulated 72 points after finishing 11th.

The nine teams that took part include UNEB, Ndejje Corporate Club, Zoe Woodball Club, St. Joseph’s Technical Institute Kisubi, Stroke Woodball Club, Botladz Woodball Club, St. Mark’s College Namagoma, Ndejje University and MUBS.
