AUPL: Wasteful BUL, Kirinya Draw Blanks

BUL FC and Kirinya Jinja SSS FC have shared spoils in a goalless draw played at the Kakindu stadium on Tuesday.

The hosts controlled the first half but missed about three open chances in front of goal and handed the same baton to Kirinya in the second half but still no goals.

BUL played their second game without their head coach Frank ‘Video’ Anyau in charge.

Robert Achema should have put BUL ahead in the tenth minute after a swift interplay between Oromchan and Bagoole ended on the strikers path inside twelve yards but his first touch guided the ball above the crossbar.

The striker got another chance to make ammends in the 29th. Agandu blasted a powerful long range shot which the keeper failed to handle, view throwing in front of Achema inside eight yards but again he surprisingly lifted above target.

Bashir Mutyaba and Semazzi waster numerous opportunities for Kirinya in the second half.
