With different ambitions set, every team would want to have a perfect start to the season and that will be the cases as Vipers Sports club make the trip to intimidating Champions stadium against bogey side Bright stars.

Vipers will be seeking to begin their quest for the title with maximum points on Tuesday.

New arrival Taddeo Lwanga believes they need to begin the campaign with maximum points against Bright stars.

“Our goal is to have the best season. So, we will go into this game to fight for the best result,’ midfielder Tadeo Lwanga said as quoted by the club website.

However, head coach Miguel Da Costa will be without midfielder Moses Waiswa who is ruled out with a knee injury.

Duncan Sseninde is also ruled out but there is boost to the team with the return of Nicholas Wadada and Ismail Watenga who have been on the national team.

On other hand Bright stars come into this game in high spirits after unveiling new players on Monday.

Key among them is striker Nelson Ssenkatuka who joins the Mwererwe based side from Proline Football Club.

Ssenkatuka scored over 10 goals for Proline and will be the main target man for Fred Kajjoba’s charges this season.

The other players include Akram Kakembo who returns after a season away at Onduparaka FC, goalkeeper Hamza Muwonge and Asuman Bajjampola from JMC Hippos.
