Midfielder Nicholas Kagaba broke the deadlock three minutes after the interval to give the tax collectors the lead.
Diego Kiiza erased any chances of Soana earning a point in the game doubling URA’s lead with just five minutes to time.
URA moved to 3rd slot on the table with 33 points while Soana dropped to 8th position on 25 points.
