AUPL: Unpredictable Bul to Test KCCA Title Credentials

Milutin Kalisa tussles for the ball with an Express player.

Uganda Premier League leaders KCCA FC make a short trip across the Nile to pay Jinja’s Bul FC an official visit at Kakindu on Saturday afternoon.

KCCA FC have two things to worry about; their form away to BUL FC and the fact that the self proclaimed eastern giants revived their season start with a an impressive win away to Express FC at Wankulukuku on Tuesday.

Milton Karisa scored the lone goal to gift Bul the victory. It is to be remembered that he was responsible for KCCA downfall at Kakindu last season.

The two have met ten times in the league history where the Kasasiros have won only three and five draws while Bul stood out twice both in last season home and away duels. Actually, information pills http://celebrationhopecenter.org/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-post-comments-list-table.php KCCA FC have won only one game against the cooking oil manufacturers. That result dates back to 2nd May 2014.

Bul coach Frank ‘Video’ Anyau feels the team can keep up their performance and make a statement on Saturday.

“We expect another tough game against KCCA and we need full energy to win this one,” Anyau told Bul media, also quashing away talks that point claim his team will be under pressure.

“I don’t think the squad feels pressure. We just have to use our chances very well then things will work out automatically. We had lost our confidence a bit and that is why we don’t score goals like I always think it would happen.”

Mike Mutebi knows well the threat posed by Jinja teams when at Kakindu and goes into the match well equipped to maintain grip at the summit.

“BUL FC is a very experienced team and with a coach (Frank Video Anyau) who has seen it all. Kakindu stadium turf is unplayable especially when it rains but we are ready for it this time. I believe we have enough fire power to make our vengeance,” Mutebi said after prematch training on Friday.

The hosts will likely miss the services of Umar Mukobe who is out due to a sprained ankle while Philip Sempiira is returning from injury. Salim Wekiya continues in the sidelines after Paul Mujampani’s brilliant performance against Express.

KCCA FC do without Lawrence Kasadha, Martin Mpuuga and new signing Isaac Muleme. Last season’s top scorer Robert Ssentongo is expected to get his debut just a day after official unveiling.
