Soana 0-1 Vipers
Erisa Ssekisambu scored the lone goal as Vipers earned a hard fought win against Soana at Kavumba recreation grounds on Friday.

Soana got the first attempt on goal as early as the 3rd minute through Dan Ssewava’s but his effort went a few inches off target.
Brian Nkuubi almost broke the deadlock at the quarter hour mark but failed to convert Brian Kakaire’s cross firing the chance wide.
Keziron Kizito and Erisa Ssekisambu had a quick interchange beating Soana defence but Ssekisambu failed to put the ball past goalkeeper Godfrey Wakabu.
Vipers were forced to make a change with Shafik Bakaki limping off and was replaced by Musa Malunda.
Goalkeeper Ismael Watenga denied Allan Kayiwa making an acrobatic save with a minute to play in the first half.
Kayiwa made a powerful effort just outside the area but Watenga parried away the ball for a corner kick.
The deciding moment came in the 56th minute with Ssekisambu heading home Hassan Wasswa’s cross from a free kick.
Sam Ssimbwa brought on Dan Wagaluka and Hamis Kitagenda but the changes failed to pay off dividends with Vipers holding on to claim all three points.
Ssekisambu almost doubled the lead for Vipers but his shot hit at the base of the post.
The result means Vipers move from 5th to 3rd position on 24 points while Soana now drop to 4th position on 23 points
