The Saints 0-0 Sadolin Paints
The Saints football club were held to a goalless draw at their home in Bombo by Jinja based side Sadolin Paints as the 2016/17 Azam Uganda premier league commenced on Friday.
Both sides who played a cautious game throughout the entire 90minutes played to a barren statement with either side failing to find the back of the net.

The saints took charge in the first half with Rogers Aloro patrolling the midfield while Ivan Wava and Ezekiel Katende piled pressure on the painter’s defence but the pair of Desmond Kyobe and Moses Kibirigere remained resilient.
Veteran striker Godfrey Wakaza came close to scoring midway through the second half but Sadolin’s new recruit Franco Olinga pulled off a great save to salvage a point for the visitors.
Former SC Villa and BUL FC midfielder Robert Achema had his debut for Sadolin but was was replaced by Nasser Muzamir at the half hour mark.
The result means Sadolin start the season in the 10th position while The saints are 12th.
