AUPL: Saints Fry Bul at Kakindu

Wakaza celebrates his early goal against BUL

Coach Frank ‘Video’ Anyau’s season at BUL FC will wait a bit longer to ‘begin’ after suffering a narrow 1-0 loss at home in Kakindu against Saints FC on Tuesday afternoon.

The coach had promised big in his prematch comments after dragging two consecutive opening draws against promoted side Proline FC and URA FC.

Things turned sour for the oil manufacturers as early as the 15th minute when Godfrey Wakaza fired in to give the Bombo side the lead which also turned to be the winner.

Saints FC was bought off by army side Simba FC who had been relegated at the end of last season.
