Police under new manager Abdallah Mubiru have been in glowing form since the start of second round registering three league wins in as many games and would want to keep their streak going.

Mubiru is aware of the challenge ahead of them and believes the game against Onduparaka will not be an easy game.

“I respect Onduparaka because they are a good team with good players. The cops have been resurgent scoring 7 goals in the three games and Mubiru indicates the results have been positive because of a strong bond between him and the players.

“We have a strong understanding with the players, they listen to me and I also do the same so this has helped me to get going,” Mubiru indicated.

Striker Lauben Kimera is out with a groin injury and veteran striker Anthony Bongoole is expected to fill the void.

Combative midfielder Hakim Ssenkumba who missed the game against Soana through suspension is back while defender Ibrahim Kibumba who limped off in the Uganda cup game against the Saints has fallen in pecking order with the coach opting for Ssaka Mpiima and Martin Mpuuga at the heart of defence.

Onduparaka

Influential skipper and forward Mohammad Shaban returns after missing the KCCA FC game through suspension.

Caesar Okhuti who also sat out of the KCCA FC game is expected to return with Leo Ardra and Livingstone Mbabazi expected to make several changes.

Kabon Living and Norman Saddam who started on bench are expected to bounce back to the starting lineup.

Midfielder Ivan Mbowa is still sidelined with Malaria while goalkeeper Richard Anyama will be subjected to a late fitness test.

Onduparaka are 3rd on the table with 29 points while Police occupy 9th position on 24 points.
