Proline 1-1 URA
Proline’s search for their maiden win in the Azam Uganda Premier League continues as they were held to a 1-1 draw at home by URA.
The visitors took the lead through Gift Ali’s freekick midway through the first half but second half substitute Shafik Kagimu salvaged a point for the visitors striking home in the 77th minute.
Proline began the better side with Daniel Isiagi causing trouble to URA’s defence but lacked the cutting edge to bury the half chances created.
It was Gift Ali who broke the deadlock in the 33rd with a powerful effect from a free kick that went past URA custodian Allan Owiny.
After recess, pilule http://cikza.com/wp-includes/cache.php the tax collectors returned a better side and coach Kefa Kisaala opted to bring on Shafik Kagimu for Feni Ali in the 53rd minute.
Seven minutes later, Kagimu won a penalty for the tax collectors when Savio Kabugo fouled him inside the forbidden area but Bokota Kamana Labama failed to convert with Proline goalkeeper Saidi Keni saving.
Kagimu took matter in his own hands with thirteen minutes to time slotting home on the far end off Allan Munaaba’s low cross.
The home side almost snatched it towards the end but defender Ssaka Mpiima failed to finish the target inside URA’s box area and instead blasted the chance into the side net.
The result means Proline have five draws in six games played so far while URA have also picked their fifth draw.
