A second repeat of the 2015-16 Fufa Big League final is in the offing as Onduparaka and Kirinya Jinja SSS FC battle out on Friday in a highly waited clash at the Greenlight stadium.
The two sides were the most outstanding in the race to promotion last season but the two are miles separated with very contrasting ambitions.
Onduparaka has punched beyond their expected and are dining with the big boys on top of the pack while the Jinja side are fighting for their survival.
Kirinya won their first league match on Tuesday against Sadolin Paints while their hosts have not lost a game at their stadium in more than a year.
Onduparaka will miss Centre back Toha Rashid for the fixture due to injury and Ivan Mbowa will wait for the late fitness test. He is returning after shaking off malaria illness. Keeper Richard Anyama is also nursing a thigh injury.
Kirinya are on clean bill of health with all their key players available for selection.
“We have a full team to select from and that gives us an advantage because we can adjust the tactics accordingly, more about http://decoreatelier.com/wp-includes/theme-compat/comments.php ” Jinja SSS Coach Kikomeko said.
“The win (Sadolin Paints) unlocked our season and we shall build on that to survive.”
