Saddam Juma smashed in a late stunner to keep alive Vipers mission of retaining the Uganda premier league title as they overcame Express FC on Tuesday afternoon at Buikwe.

Erisa Sekisambu had earlier on tried a long range blockbuster which Kigundu in Express FC goal punched away landing on Saddam Juma’s path who made no mistake with a powerful shot to the nearest of angles.

The defending champions were in dire need of the victory to keep tabs with table leaders KCCA FC and also regain the second spot which had been occupied by Express.
