League leaders KCCA football club resume action after a long break with a home fixture against Proline in the Lugogo derby on Saturday at Phillip Omondi stadium.

KCCA come into the game with a perfect record at home and skipper Dennis Okot is confident they will maintain the run at Phillip Omondi stadium.

“We have won every game we have played at home this season and I believe this will help us go past Proline, approved ” said Okot.

The defending champions have won all the six games they have played at home this season.

Proline equally have not lost a game at Phillip Omondi this season but all their games have ended in draws.

Team news

There is a timely boost for Mike Mutebi with the return of versatile player Lawrence Kasadha who has been out for over a month.

Muzamir Mutyaba, ambulance Paul Mucureezi, advice Joseph Ochaya, Timothy Awany, Derrick Nsibambi and Geoffrey Sserunkuma who have all been training with the national team are fresh and will all be available for selection.

Proline Head Coach Mujib Kasule will have selection concerns with some of his key players missing.

Goalkeeper Saidi Keni will miss the clash through suspension after accumulating cards.

Defender Savio Kabugo who has formerly played at KCCA is sidelined with a knee injury while captain Simon Mbaziira is also a doubt after picking an ankle injury in training.

The two teams last met in the league during 2013/14 season and KCCA won the game 4-0.

KCCA occupy the summit of the league on 28 points while Proline are 12th on the logo with 12 points just one point above the drop zone.
