Lweza 4-2 Express FC
Lweza got a huge boost in their bid to fend off relegation after putting up a masterpiece display to defeat rivals Express FC.
The Wankulukuku derby lived up to the billing with Lweza coming from a goal down to defeat Express 4-2 in a mouthwatering clash.
Lweza came into the game bottom from down and every game at the moment matters for them and they showed intent despite conceding early.
Saddam Juma gave Express the lead as early as the 11th minute in what looked like would be an easy ride for the red eagles.
A few minutes to the break, the former KCCA FC, URA FC and Vipers midfielder gave Lweza the lead with a fantastic finish and arguably a contender for goal of the season.
Lweza returned recharged even after recess and this time round it was midfielder Juma Balinya who took matters into his own hand scoring a second half brace to stum his former club.
Saddam Juma scored another goal from the spot kick but only settled for a consolation as Lweza held on to win 4-2.
The result means Lweza boost their chances of surviving relegation moving to 13th position on 28 points while Express remain 5th on 40 points.
