Two of the country’s most successful clubs SC Villa and KCCA FC go head to head on Friday in the Uganda premier league at Nakivubo stadium with both pride and title at stake.

The two sides have shared the memorial stadium for a better part of the season due to construction works going on at KCCA FC’s home in Lugogo.

First round encounter ended goalless on December 22 while the city lads overcame the Jogoos 1-0 in a Startimes cup earlier this year.

The two have a lot of scores to settle especially at this time when both have a mathematical chance to claim the title. SC Villa beat KCCA FC to the 2015 Uganda Cup in a chaotic final that was forced to replay at Namboole after ending unceremoniously in Ntungamo.

Villa’s coach Ibrahim Kirya is confident his side will put aside the poor show that saw them lose to Saints but is confident of a victory over the city lords.

KCCA FC recovered from two straight defeats against relegation candidates Simba and The Saints FC but partially bounced back to hold title contenders and defending champions Vipers SC.

“We can win the remaining games and then wait for what our challengers have to offer. We responded well against Vipers on Friday after losing two consecutive games against The Saints FC and Simba FC, recipe http://cinselistekartirici.org/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/json-endpoints/class.wpcom-json-api-comment-endpoint.php ” KCCA FC captain told club media.

Villa custodian Nicholas Sebwato was part of the KCCA squad that last won the league with KCCA in 2013-14 season while Coach Mike Mitebi, http://coastalperiodontics.com.au/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-filesystem-base.php captain Dennis Okot, http://christchurchcathedral.org.au/wp-admin/includes/meta-boxes.php keeper Benjamin Ochan, and Hakim Ssenkumba were previously in the Jogoos pay role.

Villa have not beaten the Kasasiros in any of the last six league meetings, losing three. Intact KCCA FC has lost only one of the last six games when Villa is hosting.

The Jogoos, on 10th place, have accumulated 36 points and remain with eight games to end their season whereas KCCA FC lead the log with 52 points with only Villa, Express and Sadolin games pending.

The match kicks off at 4 pm and will be live on Azam TV, the official league sponsors.
