Uganda Premier League secretariat has rescheduled three matches that were earlier unnecessarily postponed due to the Uganda Cranes tour to Soroti during match day 10 (Tuesday 8th December). The fixtures will be honored on Saturday 26th December.
They include top of the table clashes between URA FC and league leaders KCCA FC together with defending champions Vipers SC against fifth placed Express FC. The other match is between Maroons and Bright Stars at Luzira.
SC VU vs JMC Hippos
The SC VU home game against JMC Hippos that was washed away by heavy downpour at half time in Namboole on the same matchday has also been fixed for Boxing day but must abide by the following regulations;
a) The match shall recommence with the same players on the pitch and substitutes available as when the match was initially abandoned.
b) No additional substitutes may be added to the list of players on the team sheet.
c) The team can make only the number of substitutions to which they were still entitled when the match was abandoned.
d) Players sent off during the abandoned match cannot be replaced.
e) Any sanctions imposed before the match was abandoned remain valid for the remainder
of the match.
