AUPL: 6 Matches Called Off Due to Unavailable Pitch, Players

Only five  matches out of the eight that were scheduled to be played on Tuesday 27th in the Azam Uganda Premier League will go on as planned while the rest have been postponed to future dates due to different reasons.

Mandela national stadium is undergoing maintenance works on the main playing surface and thus the game pitting The Saints FC and Lweza FC has been affected since the ground is the former’s (Saints) home.

SCVU versus Simba FC and the The Saints FC Vs SCVU that were sketched for the successive matchdays have also been pushed due to the same reasons.

The other two games forwarded involve Vipers FC versus Police FC KCCA FC versus Bright Stars FC. They have been postponed due to the fact that table leaders KCCA FC and runners up, about it order Vipers SC have several players in the national team.
