Aspiring MP Dragged to Police for Threatening Murder

Herbert Kabafunzaki, illness http://cosmoveda.de/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/class-wc-https.php the Rukiga county Member of Parliament aspirant in the NRM primaries has been dragged to the Kabale Central Police Station by a voter, rx for threatening to kill him.

Elisha Ndyabahika, a resident of Kasoni village in Rwamucucu sub county accuses Kabafunzaki, who is also the LC5 Councilor for Makindye A in Wakiso district of making a phone call to him on Wednesday in which he threatened to kill him.

He says in the late night phone exchange, the loose-lipped aspiring MP told him that either one of the two would be buried by the close of the electoral season.

Ndyabahika says he couldn’t take the threat lightly and that he was now living in great fear for his life, which is why he sought police intervention.

Elly Maate, the  Kigezi regional police spokesman confirmed to us that a case of threatening violence  had been opened against the politician under file number SD REF 57/01/10/2015 at the Kabale Police station and that investigations were underway.

Chimpreports after several tries, managed to reach the aspiring MP on his mobile and he vehemently denied the accusations saying that they were  baseless concoctions by his political rivals to tarnish his name ahead of the elections.

“I know that boy has been sent by [FDC’s] Jack Sabiiti and they want to destabilize me. Why would I want to kill someone that doesn’t even own a hen?” he told us.

Kabafunzaki is facing Edmund Atusasiire , Davis Ariho Rwaburikwire and Moses  Karugaba in the NRM primaries after which the winner with battle Jack Sabiti in the 2016 general elections.
