Andy Mwesigwa Gets New Club

Chaos has erupted this afternoon at the headquarters of the Forum for Democratic Change in Najjankumbi, this where police and the military police reportedly deployed heavily.

Party officials were according to reports, holding a crisis meeting at the head offices as their candidate continues to trail the incumbent President Yoweri Museveni in the ongoing vote tallying exercise at Nambole.

Police surrounded the party offices and when they were confronted by supporters, they fired teargas and live bullets.

Also suspicious helicopters were reportedly seen hovering over the area.

Meanwhile in the uptown Kololo, a group of Go Forward supporters have raided the residence of presidential candidate John Patrick Amama Mbabazi.

The angry supporters were demanding to be allowed inside the gate according to the Kampala Police spokesperson.

Police he said rushed to this point, to quell a brawl that ensued.

Mbabazi is still trialing well below 2% in the preliminary results released by the Independent Electoral Commission.
Former Uganda Cranes captain Andrew Mwesigwa has signed a two year deal with Câu l?c b? bóng, abortion commonly known as Hà N?i football club that feature in the Vietnamese national premier league.

On their part Ha Noi Fc coach Nguy?n D?c Th?ng believes Andy’s addition will add value to his defensive structure going into the 2016 season which kicks off on Sunday against Hoang Anh Gia Lai.

“He is the final addition to solve our defensive puzzle coming into the v League this year. I wish him and the other teammates a season of flowers, dedication and success,” the coach told club media (translated from Vietnamese).

Apart from Mwesigwa, Ha Noi Fc has also added Jean Eudes Maurice to their squad as the other foreigner. The Haitian striker has played for Paris Saint Germain from 2009, capped 25
times for his country and scoring 12 goals.

Mwesigwa brief profile
The 32-year old came to the limelight in 2002 when he joined SC Villa Jogoo before spending three years at Iceland’s giants ÍBV Vestmannaeyjar from 2006-2009.

Mwesigwa played one year in Chinese super league with Chongqing Lifan FC in 2010. From their he travelled to Kazakhstan for a four year stint at Fc Ordabasy.

The centre back took over the national team captaincy from long serving captain Ibrahim Sekajja in February 2012. His stint ended when Uganda lost 2-0 to Guinea in a 2015 AfCon qualifiers played in Morocco. The former captain was largely critisized by Local fans for letting in a ‘cheap’ goal and giving away a late penalty. He has not feautered for national duty since then.
