Uganda Crested Cranes international midfielder Jean Senninde has organized a women football tournament that kicks off on Friday 16 December at Villa Park, this http://csrf.net/wp-admin/includes/noop.php Nsambya.
The tournament is open for all women football teams in the country but the top flight (FWEL) licensed players.
“My main objective is to help identify, shop http://cosmoveda.de/wp-admin/includes/class-core-upgrader.php develop young players and help boost women football in Uganda, dosage http://cizgisactasarim.com/wp-content/plugins/page-builder-pmc/blocks/aq-social-block.php ” Sseninde told ChimpSport.
She adds that, “The tournment is about women with passion to play and haven’t yet got the opportunity to compete at high level of competition in Uganda which is the women elite league.”
Sseninde plies her trade in the United Kingdom with Queens Park Rangers ladies FC in the English FA women’s premier league.
“Only players and teams that are not taking part in the ongoing women elite league are allowed to participate in the tournament. It’s the first one that I am doing, so hoping it goes well and then we shall organize an improved second edition next year.”
Crested Cranes head coach Majidah Nantanda is the main patron of the event while other special guests include singer Bobi Wine’s spouse Barbie Kyagulanyi.
