rural areas this year. We expect to roll out the campaign to different parts of the country,” said Deo Nyanzi, the executive director of PLACA.
Nyanzi noted that the campaign intends to foster a good understanding of the electoral process and develop leaders of great integrity at an early age.

The drive has so far rolled out the campaign in 27 districts in Lango and
Acholi sub regions.
“Apart from the education, we also help to provide the electorates with the electoral materials provided by EC,” he said.
The DISO of Apac, Adui Emmanuel lauded the campaign, saying it is a great national achievement that will yield good results if well handled.
“Voter education enhances citizen participation in governance, democratization and transformation of society,” he said.
The DISO implored the electorates to take the voter education seriously as it counts for their ability to vote for the right leaders.
