Ajax Queens were crowned champions of the 2017 Maama Becca memorial tournament in the open category after overcoming Kawempe Muslim in a tense penalty shootout on Sunday.

Mukono High School emerged champions in the secondary schools classification (U19) edging past Kawempe Muslim SS 1-0 in a close contest.
