Egypt national team bound for the 2017 Africa cup of Nations has lined up an international build up match against fellow North Africans Tunisia.
The friendly will be played on Sunday 8th January in Alexandria Egypt before the Pharaohs fly to Gabon for the finals.
Egypt trounced 2015 Afcon finalists Ghana 2-0 on Sunday in a world cup group E qualifier. The two giants will meet again in the group stages in Gabon.
They’re pooled in group D alongside Uganda and Mali.
The Pharaohs start their campaign on Tuesday 17th against Mali at the Port Gentil stadium before facing Uganda three days later and Ghana in the last match on Wednesday 25th.
Tunisia who will be camping in Egypt ahead of the finals, are in group B with Algeria, Senegal and Zimbabwe.
