Afcon 2017: Cranes Have no Room for Error Against Botswana

Cranes could decide their own fate on Saturday when they face Botswana, drug either to continue fighting or just wait and honor their last fixture against Comoros in their closing Afcon 2017 qualifiers that comes in September.

Farouk Miya’s fate will be decided today. The Belgium based attacking midfielder suffered severe concussion on his arrival in Harare. He has however trained twice.

Attacking winger Segolame Boy shook off an ankle injury and will be available same Zebras assistant captain Ofentse Nato who has been out of competitive action

Emmanuel Okwi scored a brace on 31st August 2013 in a friendly fire which Cranes won 3-1 against Botswana. The last time both met in the Cosafa country.

Township rollers burly striker Joel Mogorossi has scored against Burkina Faso and Comoros in both games Botswana hosted in this campaign.

Cranes keeper Dennis Onyango is expected to feature after missing the friendly loss while recovering from a hamstring.  Centre back Murshid Jjuko is also returning from suspension.
