Adebayor Among the 23 to Play Uganda in Friendly

Togo National Team

Former Arsenal and Real Madrid star Emmanuel Adebayor is among the 23 players summoned to the Togo national team by head coach Claude Le Roy ahead of the international build up friendly with Uganda Cranes.

The friendly will be played on October 4th at the Kegue stadium.

The squad that is dominated by European based players consists of two goal keepers, buy eight defenders, information pills seven midfielders and six strikers.

Among the summoned players include team skipper Akakapo Serge who plays for Trabzonspor in Turkey, here Floyd Ayite (Fulham, England) and Farouk Miya’s attacking partner at Standard Liege, Mathieu Dossevi.

Togo will use the build ups to prepare for the 2017 Africa cup of Nations to be held from mid January in Gabon while Uganda shape up for the World cup qualifying group opener against Ghana on October 7th.

The Cranes reached the groups after eliminating Togo in the second round qualifiers.
