Saragay was first arraigned in court in July 30th last year over the murder of Ambassador Fonseca.

Chimpreports understands Saragay did not, however, take a plea as the prosecution said it was still carrying on with investigations.

The Ambassador was found murdered through strangulation in 2012.

It is said that the late ambassador had been in the country for a few weeks after taking over from former Ambassador Gerardo Da Silva who left the country under controversial circumstances.

The late Fonseca was found dead at her residence a day after holding a party at the same premises.

According to media reports ‘Fonseca arrived in Nairobi in July 15th, 2012 and had not been given a police escort nor was her residence guarded by police.’

The ill-fated diplomat had been staying at a hotel and had only moved to the Runda residence two days before her murder which left Kenyans asking what had led to her execution especially which came after that of Prof George Saitoti and his Deputy Orwa Ojode.

Kevin Odhiambo, who was the personal driver to the late diplomat claimed that there existed bad blood between the two with reports indicating that the late Ambassador was reported changed all the door locks at her residence in Runda a day before she was found dead.

The court is yet to determine the fate of Saragay concerning the matter.
