It’s now three years since the qualifying format changed to regional from district level qualifying and according to organisers, brings only cream of teams at the final stage with the top three schools representing Uganda at the August East African Secondary Schools’ Games.

Meanwhile Raphael Bwire, Organising Committee head has warned all the schools that may wish to field in ineligible players would face a 3 years ban if found guilty. Each school is allowed to register 18 players.

St Mary’s Kitende are the defending champions after defeating Buikwe’s Risah Standard Academy 2-0 in Tororo.
