He said Centenary Bank has a Vision of being the leading provider of financial services especially micro finance services in Uganda.

He added that people love this bank because of its good services including providing education services, opportunities to their customers on how to save in both rural areas and urban centres, low charges on withdrawals, an interest rate of 22 per annum and also its speed in serving customers.

Brenda Nayiga, a Centenary Bank customer assured our Chimp Corp of how she is fully satisfied with the bank’s services. She opened an account with Centenary in 2006 and then acquired a loan with them. She however said that she was taught on how to use it effectively by a certain bank official and since then she has acquired more than 6 loans which have helped to boost her business.

Nayiga also revealed that beginning of this year she opened a Cente Junior Account for his son and acquired a loan for his school fees.

Mukiibi said that with 2013 Centenary bank has a plan of extending many service centres to other areas like going electronically with Cente mobile-water and E- UMEME payments. He said this would help reduce on the length of the ques in the banks since customers will be using phones to pay.
