Universities Off To Dar-Es-Salaam

Among the 50 universities that are expected to take part in the 8th edition of the university games, there will be more than 4000 students participating in games like football, volleyball, tennis, karate, netball, cricket, boxing, athletics among other disciplines.

Ugandan universities will have to tassel it out with universities from other countries like Kenya, Tanzania the hosts, Rwanda and Zanzibar.

The 7th edition of the Inter university games that was hosted by Kenyatta University was won by Ugandan side Ndejje University in2010. Unfortunately the games that were scheduled to be played in December last year were not played because the hosts Dar-es-salaam university requested for their postponement.

2010 Ndejje.
