Such songs were done by the likes of Mathias Walukaga.
According to the Judges, they are looking for someone in Uganda to represent the region with a striking singing talent.
They mainly look at people who sing in English because it is the main language that is used in the region.
Maurice Kiirya said the talent search is a good deal because it gives an opportunity to young talented musicians out there to prove themselves.
The winner of the competition will win Shs 50,000,000 and a recording contract with Fenon studios.
