The final day of submitting of nomination papers saw the Naivasha parliamentary hopefuls race against time to have the court reverse the disqualification hence causing residents to be confused and tensed on the turn of events.
The process however took some time to solve as the candidate was forced to produce documents to support the fact that he won and confirmation to satisfy the commission officials.
The politician was accused of engaging to electoral malpractices that included vote buying during the nominations campaign. The Tribunal had returned the matter to the National Alliance party Officials to solve.
According to his Lawyer Paul Gichuki, someone had raised false accusation to the Tribunal against his client who handed it to the party.
By Afternoon on Friday, the Electoral body cleared him and presented a nomination certificate to contest in the march 4th general elections.

Kenya 7s rugby team beat South Africa in cup quarters in the ongoing New Zealand 7s to book a slot the cup semis to play against the hosts New Zealand. Kenya’s Collins Injera was the first to strike at the 2nd minute putting the pride of Africa boys 7-0 on the lead. South Africa’s Cornal Hendricks hit back but did not convert putting the score at 7-5 in favour of Kenyans.
The South Africans strike again through Cornal Hendricks but failed to convert putting the score 7-10 at the 6th minute. The RSA 7s made another try with Stephan Dippenaar at the 7.35 minute and still did not convert hence putting the score at 7-15 before half time.

The losers in the bowl quarters met for the Shield semi finals where Tonga won their first game in New Zealand by beating Portugal 7-17 while Wales beat USA 15-17 to proceed to shield finals
In the Bowl semi finals Spain lost to Canada 7-31 while Fiji beat France 19-17.
The losers of the Cup quarters met at the plate Semi finals where Scotland beat Argentina 35-5 and Australia beating South Africa 28-12 making the South African loose all the games they play this weekend in New Zealand.
New Zealand will now face Samoa to battle for 3rd place while Kenya will battle it out for the finals with England who qualified after beating Samoa 21-19.
