8 More Foreign Based Players Boost Cranes Camp

Uganda Cranes camp has been boosted with the arrival of foreign based players during the training on Monday evening.

Cranes resumed training on Monday after the regional tour game on Saturday against Kampala region in preparation for the friendly game against Zambia on Tuesday and the world cup qualifier against Congo Brazzaville on Saturday.

Team captain Geoffrey Massa and midfielder Khalid Aucho all from Baroka FC in South Africa trained with the team on Monday.

The other players who joined camp included the trio of goalkeeper Robert Odongkara, visit this site Isaac Isinde and Yassar Mugerwa from St.George, ambulance Ethiopia, approved Shafik Batambuze from Kenya Premier League champions Tusker, Dennis Iguma Al Ahed, Lebanon and Luwagga Kizito from Rio Ave,Portugal.

A total of 26 players attended the light training drills on Monday.

The rest of the players are expected to join the team tomorrow including Ronald Mukiibi from Oostersunds in Sweden.

In another development, eight players were released from camp including Godfrey Lwesibawa, Halid Lwaliwa, Erisa Ssekisambu, Dennis Okot, Keziron Kizito, Allan Kayiwa, Shafik Kagimu and Richard Kasagga

Defenders: Joseph Nsubuga, Hassan Wasswa, Geoffrey Walusimbi, Isaac Isinde, Joseph Ochaya, Timothy Awany, Dennis Iguma, Nicholas Wadada

Midfielders: Tony Mawejje, Khalid Aucho, Vitalis Tabu, Yassar Mugerwa, Luwagga Kizito, Shafik Batambuze, Muzamir Mutyaba, Saddam Juma Ibrahim.

Forwards: Geoffrey Massa, Derrick Nsibambi, Geoffrey Sserunkuma, Mohammad Shaban, Edrisa Lubega
