Samsung Week Launched With A Bang In Uganda

Samsung is a global leader in semiconductor, telecommunication, digital media and technologies around the world.

The Samsung week will be basically a consumer focused week aimed at increasing local knowledge and awareness about the Company.

Samsung will showcase the company’s latest products, reward loyal customers and explore potential business opportunities with the key Ugandan partners.

This will be done through road shows with free service clinics where Samsung clients will bring their products to be repaired at a zero cost, workshops for selected partners such as dealers and product operators.

It will give the company a chance of interacting with the customers directly which will help Samsung in getting direct feedback from business partners and clients.

“The reality is that African Citizens are becoming much more tech survey and reliant on using technology to drive their everyday lives. With this comes a demand for solid state of the art service delivery through optimized technologies and processes that are easy to use and adapt creating what is known today as the convenience factor,” said Tessa Caleb, the Cooperate Marketing Manager, Samsung East Africa.

More on this issue, Saiju Panicker, Country Manager for Samsung IT in Uganda, emphasized that the country should use Samsung products to build an efficient and technological infrastructure thus developing the country.

During this week, Samsung will focus on the core pillars of business development and they include; business to government relations, Smart e- Governance, Smart safe Community, Job creation and Smart Healthcare.

The Samsung week in Uganda will officially start on the 25th November 2012 at Kati kati and end on the 1st December 2012 at Lugogo indoor Stadium.
