The Chairperson of the Association, Ms Brenda Komugisha, encouraged all students and citizens of Uganda to conduct such activities in their areas of residence as the promotion of hygiene should not only be left to the City or District Authorities but to each and every individual in the society.

The cleaning exercise was graced by Kyambogo University Guild President, Mr Christopher Buni Saddam, who asked the group to regularly carry out such activities and pledged to always attend when invited and provide refreshments for the group too.
