Kampala Set For “Electrifying French Concert”

Maryse Ngalula and Elie Kamano will be performing for the first time in Kampala as part of their international tour.

Maryse Ngalula, a Congolese is one of the winners of the Visa Pour la creation contest.

Her music is a mixture of Jazz and Congolese traditional music. RFI Devocouverte award finalist Ellie Kamano from Guinea and a star in his home land for his reggae music will be one of the stars at the event.

The show which will be entirely free will start at 7:30pm and will include other artistes like Irene Ntale, Mys Natts, Tambo and Majestics.

Irene Ntale is one of those young Ugandan artistes to watch. She is a guitarist, song writer and one of Kampala’s raising stars expected to electrify the audience.

Irene is a former lead singer of the uneven band and has currently taken on her solo career. Her music is a unique sound of acoustic soul and percussion. She also holds weekly shows at Gattamato in Bugolobi.
