They want the government to put a partial ban on all public gatherings as they stop the recent fast spreading Marburg disease.

However this is creating panic in the entertainment industry.

Our Corps have heard from several stake holders in the industry like Discotheque owners, bar owners, event organizers among others that they could lose millions of money if the ban is implemented anytime soon.

We hear that the ban has been recommended for areas that are already affected with the disease in Western Uganda.

This will indeed affect organizers of upcoming concerts of artistes like the one of international star Sean Paul set on November 9, Chameleone’s “Back To Memory” at Club Obligatto and Bobi Wine’s “Tugambire Ku Jennifer” launch.
