Nakawa Court Dismisses FUFA Court Case

Galiwango who formerly served as an assistant Secretary during the regime of the late Denis Obua (RIP) was represented by WEB Advocates and Solicitors.

In his case, Galiwango sought a permanent Injunction order restraining the current FUFA Executive from continued stay in office on allegations that its term lapsed by a dissolution of the General Assembly.

He also wanted a permanent Injunction order stopping all the activities of the FUFA Executive, its agents, servants and or employees forthwith.

The Mbale delegate further asked a Court declaratory order that the FUFA Super League Board headed by Hajji Abbass Kawaase is running its activities illegally.

The Federation dispersed off a team of city lawyers headed by O.H.A Ochieng, Harimwomugasho & Co. Advocates to follow up the case.

Court agreed with FUFA lawyers the grounds of the plaintiff’s application were invalid and that the Nakawa High Court had no jurisdiction to handle the case.
