Speaking in a workshop organized by Uganda National Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with the High Commission of India and Uganda at Kampala Serena hotel on Tuesday which aimed at facilitating industrial investments in Uganda, Kyambadde encouraged the Indian community to return and make more investments in Uganda.
Kyambadde said Uganda is a better place for purposeful investments due to its good political climate, good infrastructure, productive competitive labor and a strategic market.
She called upon the private sector to invest in the vast sectors and land that is still available in Uganda.
She added there were very many exploration opportunities in Uganda in sectors of oil and mineral exploration, ICT and housing estates which would ensure good trading opportunities for investment.
Kyambadde, however, urged the Indian High Commission to offer Uganda with investors and not workers saying that the country has got a big population ready to serve as employees.
