The meeting will further prepare the agenda for the 4th National Delegates conference and discuss the presidential election campaign progress report.

He said FDC has political zones and Kampala is a district on its own but it is too big to be handled by just 19 people. Wafula said they intended to divide it into five districts so that it is managed properly.

The meeting, which will be chaired by the National Party Chairman Hon. Sam Kalega Njuba, will address 29 constitutional amendments supposed to be presented in Parliament and the main ones will go to the Electoral Commission such as the issue of security during elections.

Wafula concluded by saying that the on-going campaigns for FDC presidential elections are going on well.

He said the candidates are traversing the country without any hindrance, adding the smear campaign had stopped.
