ATHLETICS: Denmark-based Lutabi Wants To Win Gold For Uganda

dosage geneva; color: black; font-size: small;”>Lutabi’s recent amazing performance was exhibited last month in the European 5 Stages Marathon (10km race – flat 5.8km on sand long beach) along Bornholm Island on the Baltic Sea where he emerged third.

2,000 athletes participated in the race.

Lutabi was the 5 stages marathon where he put up an extraordinary performance in a Born in Kapeka, Luweero district, Lutabi has worked his way up to a more recognized and respected position in sports under the guidance of the Danish government.

Lutabi’s star started shinning in 2008 in several athletic competitions in the European country.

His goal is to make it to number one in the entire Europe and later bring the gold medal to Uganda, something that will build his image and Uganda’s at large.

Early next year, Lutabi is planning to bring together a group of young men especially Ugandans whom he will be training himself with the help of the Danish government. This Saturday, he will be taking part in the Danish championship [track and field] at Copenhagen-Osterbro stadium and the Ugandan Ambassador in Denmark will be present to render his support.

Afro-European Chimp Corp Brenda Eunice says people in the Diaspora should engage themselves in productive activities while working on achieving the best rather than waiting for miracles to happen.

“Lutabi has inspired so many young people both in Denmark and Uganda something we ought to look up to and evaluate because it’s a big sacrifice,” says Eunice.
