Joseph Tumwebaze, a close family friend, has told Chimpreports news desk the parents who have been searching for the boy from different police stations, are now headed home to meet Abasa.
Abasa’s parents had also used the social media to publicize their missing son’s photographs.
It also emerged that Abasa vanished after being “disciplined” by her mother.
According to a family friend, clad in a short sleeved red jersey, khaki shorts and blue slippers, Abasa chose to abandon his home in what appears as an early search of freedom from his mother.
A case was reported at Wandegeya Police Station, considering that Abasa was a senior student of Makerere College School.
It’s yet unclear where the boy was hiding and how he was found.
