“The Public Relations Office has been advised by the Department of Sergeant-At-Arms that given the current Ebola Outbreak, it has been deemed necessary to suspend all visits to Parliament by large groups of people,” Parliament said in a statement today.

“Consequently, the school visits to Parliament have been suspended with immediate effect. This also applies to any other large group visits.”

“This is to request you therefore, to advise your constituents accordingly. Please note that tours will only resume after Parliament has been advised by the Health Inspector accordingly,” the statement further read.

“I request those MPs who had made arrangements for schools and constituents to tour Parliament to kindly contact them, and prevent them from coming to Parliament with immediate effect.”
